Nothing is formalized yet, track director wanted to wait until pavement is in place and we can agree on price.

Boy Devils Bowl would be nice since its close to me, but I would imagine it would be a little tight for 'crossing.

Cornwall? Another Cornwallian here? 8) Welcome! I ought to know who you are, but I don't, and I ought to have noticed your cars, but I haven't. If you drive down Route 30, you've probably gone by my house and seen me out working in the garage at some point.

I've got my fingers crossed for Devil's Bowl too.

I'm up off Rt 74, but I travel 30 a bunch, and I'm sure I must have passed by you at some point since there aren't many of us out here. Like I said before Devils Bowl would be pretty interesting, but if they aren't laying a strip or two through the infield, I dunno that the front and back stretch would be able to run much of an autocross course (in tandem with the turns). If they do have a few strips of pavement through the infield it will definitely be sick! :drive1:

A friend emailed me end of last week and said they were in the middle of paving, so yep, they should hopefully be done by now.

I was down at the Bowl today for the opening of the season. I gotta say it could be alright for 'crossing as its about 3.5 lanes wide, but you wouldn't want to screw up anywhere on the track as you have to deal with the front stretch wall and then no walls anywhere else on the track, but drop-offs. If you were to go off any other way than straight, I'd say you are lookin for a roll (kinda like one of the ACT drivers today, but he went up the front stretch wall and then over).

Peter, still in a holding pattern unfortunately. I think the track owner was on the busy side getting the site open for his first event last weekend. In addition Dave is looking into the lot in Champlain.
