So I spoke more with The Sports Grill. They do not charge for the space, it is sectioned off from the other areas, Tuesday nights are wing night, they have a variety of beers on tap, and the food is interesting and good(to me). They only require that we remind them a week ahead and one day before.

Do we want to consider them for January?

Isn't January the end of year "banquet"? Probably best to keep that where people know since more people would be coming.

This was my thought as well. We could shoot for February though. :D

I actually went there tonight before the UVM Basketball game. I saw the area we are talking about is plenty big enough for us. It is not seperated by walls, but it is definately off to the side and out of the way. There was no one there tonight, and the rest of the place was fairly full.

As a side note, they have Switchback and it was fresh. :drinkers:

Hi All,

I know that we had originally discussed moving the February club meeting location, but this will be delayed until the March meeting.

February is going to be a big meeting, with Paul Giblin as a guest speaker to talk about the Climb to the Clouds event! Exciting!!!!

Nice! I've been off the forums for a while but I welcome the venue change. We've been to VTSG a few times and had a relatively good experience each time. Definite bonus points that Tuesday is wings night. \:D/ Looking forward to the March meeting now!

Hey George, we would like to have our March meeting at Vt sports grill could you let the owner's know that we will be there, or reserve the space you had mentioned. Is this something you could help out with?
