Gauging interest in a second Wintercross.

Post by sachilles »

Mother nature seems to be cooperating and we are getting quite a bit of snow in the Mad River valley.
Property owner was happy with the last event and is agreeable to host another one.
It looks like the weekend that will work best is 3/24-25.

This means we have to hope mother nature can continue to cooperate. Historically, march is actually a pretty snowy month in the valley. Post up if you are likely to participate.

I'm definitely interested in trying it and haven't managed to make any of the winter events yet. I would likely be able to do at least one day.

I would do everything within my control to be there, and help prep the site prior to the event.

I'll be anxious to see the conditions this time around. I'd wager less Ice this time around, so studs wouldn't as big an advantage. Mother nature is fickle though, so who knows what we'll get for a surface.

Any surface is better than having the car parked in the garage and my butt on the couch.
