Mother nature doesn't seem to share our enthusiasm.

Still gung ho to do this event, but at this point I'm not convinced the course will be ready. Very thin snow cover, with a forecast of warm temps for the next 10 days.

Just looked at the site this morning. Lots of bare ground. The odds of this happening are quite low at this point. We'd need at least a good dump above about 12" of snow between now and then.

So it cannot happen unless there's snow & ice? Some hard dirt would still be fun if the course was firm enough and not covered w/ broken glass or something. I suppose the concern is for damage to the surface?

I believe our insurance dictates that the surface be either snow or ice. If it's dirt/grass we are in the rallycross territory, which our insurance does not allow.

I told you I can make it snow. Every time I try to get ahead on outside work...

I took the chains off my plow, and washed my car. Hence the snow. That being said, it's already gone on parts of my driveway.

I changed the winters back to summers on the wife's car, (hence the snow), but I left winters on the truck in case it snows, (hence the melt).
