my card! I knew I forgot something  I'll try to make it to the members meeting

the event was a lot of fun, it was my first time racing in those conditions so it took some getting used to, it was a good chance to test out my new camera mount though :D

I got a lot of different angles with all the runs with got on Sunday (9.... I mean, 8) so that I can make one cool video.

Turns out the wife's WRX is a lot harder to drive that I would have expected. Turning the electronics off helped me with straight line acceleration, but was a disaster in the corners. Having the electronics on pretty much shut the car down when I tried to pitch it sideways for a corner. Ugg! AWD with sutdded snows, three locked diffs, and no electronics seems to be the formula for success.

Looking forward to next time.

I wanted to send out a big thank you to everyone involved in organizing and participating in last weekend's wintercross event. Well organized, smooth, and a ton of fun. Have another one, I'll definitely be back. Also a giant thanks to Larson for letting me thrash his 20 Valve-totally appreciated the chance to scratch my motorsports itch in February. Steve

Steve.

Larson said we can only let you back if you let him beat you in his own car.

I am looking for full-size pictures or raw video of the dark grey (almost looks black) Subaru WRX sedan that I was driving. The bigger image and best quality image is best as I want to incorporate it into my HD video.

I can provide FTP information to upload (or whatever method works for you).

Thanks
Steve

This is the car:

PS - If you want a photo from the above gallery, just ask. I can e-mail you the full size original image(s) as opposed to the 1600px wide images that I posted. Use as you please, but give credit where possible. There are no watermarks as I feel these are meant to be shared.
