Loaner helmets?

Post by johnandbuddy »

I am planning to go to the Autocross event on the 25th of this month (may) at Devils Bowl and was wondering if there will be any loaner helmets for use at the event. I am new to VT autocross and dont know the events at all. I was a MD Autocrosser :drive1:

There was a loaner helmet in the trailer. Unsure if large or medium. I believe it meets the helmet requirements. It was donated by Loreen and Patrice Ladd.

Thanks for the response :)
But does anyone have more "official" info, I would hate to drive 2 hours to the event and then they only have a medium helmet that doesn't fit, and it is not even meet safety regulations. Thanks

For the "official loaner", Chris will have to reply as the trailer is at his house..... CHRIS R!

I would say I am a large. One of my childhood nick names was Big Head, so I don't think I would fit in a medium :P
I never really checked, the Maryland Autocross had like 10 loaners lined up so I just tried on a couple till one fit. Is large the most common? Cause Most fit me, only a few where to small.

I have a large helmet that is an extra. I will make sure is in the trailer before it heads down.

Hey real quick, I have searched but am unable to see the cost for the autocross events. I see its 20 for a membership, but how much is an autocross event, and is there a member price and a non member price, or do you need to be a member to participate.

for the first event it's $40 member/$50 non-member.
