The official 5/25 Devil's bowl autocross thread.

Post by sachilles »

Let's get this party started, shall we?

We are behind the 8 ball getting this set up to go.

Long story short, motorsports reg is not set up just yet, but look for it shortly.

EDIT: Motorsports reg is now online link below
http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/ ... ZOmS0oz98E

We need your help to make these autocrosses happen. We need some new faces to help run the events. Some of the regulars may be missing this year. So if we want the events, WE have to make them happen.

For the first autocross we need the following:
Chair-Paul D Confirmed
Co-chair
Registrar
asst Registrar-Alex N Confirmed

Tech inspector 1-Shawn M Confirmed
Tech inspector 2-This job now available, inquire within.

Worker coordinator 1 Ed Confirmed
Worker coordinator 2

Worked Event: Chris R Confirmed
If you can do one of these tasks, please let me know in the thread below or contact me however you feel comfortable.

Online registration is intended to be available, but at this point it is not set up. You may register at this event on site, without having to pay extra.

Price should be the same as last season, or very close. Our insurance rates did go up a touch from last season.

Spread the word. Get your car ready. New comers start asking your questions....you know you are curious about something.

Make sure your battery is secured. You need a M or SA 2000 rated helmet or newer. IT MUST HAVE the foil snell sticker. Looks like this Image.
Usually the sticker can be found inside the helmet under the padding somewhere. If it isn't bolted down inside your car, take it out. Make sure you have no loose suspension bits(grab each of your four wheels) and shake it in every direction possible, there should be no play. It's easier to check with the wheel jacked in the air.

Hope to see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question? Seth are you the chair for the event, and who's would be bringing the trailer with cones and computer lap counting system, just wondering if I could be of any help, but don't know how to run the counting software

Paul D volunteered to chair on the back channel....need to update that now, but we need a co-chair. At this point there is no trailer plan in place....but the usual suspects will be at Ascutney this weekend and I'm sure we'll figure something out there. Glad to have you learn the computer stuff if you'd like to do that.
