The Official 6/15 Devil's Bowl Autocross thread!

Post by BugEyeRex »

Let's continue this party!

If you missed the first one because of the weather you are at a disadvantage! Valuable points were collected and we had a surprise FTD! Plus, driving in the rain makes you a better driver!

Do not miss this one...Registration is now open.
https://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm ... aSeq0DCaSo

We need your help to make these autocrosses happen. We need some new faces to help run the events. Some of the regulars may be missing this year. So if we want the events, WE have to make them happen.

For the secound autocross we need the following:
Chair- Paul D.
Co-
Registrar
asst Registrar-

Tech inspector 1- Shawn M
Tech inspector 2-

Worker coordinator 1- Ed
Worker coordinator 2

If you can do one of these tasks, please let me know in the thread below or contact me however you feel comfortable.

You may register at this event on site, without having to pay extra.

Price is the same as last season.

Spread the word. Get your car ready. New comers start asking your questions....you know you are curious about something.

Make sure your battery is secured. You need a M or SA 2000 rated helmet or newer. IT MUST HAVE the foil snell sticker. Looks like this
Image
Usually the sticker can be found inside the helmet under the padding somewhere. If it isn't bolted down inside your car, take it out. Make sure you have no loose suspension bits(grab each of your four wheels) and shake it in every direction possible, there should be no play. It's easier to check with the wheel jacked in the air.

Hope to see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy to chair the event and handle course design.
We were given the unofficial ok to use the new pavement in the paddock for our course. Once this is confirmed, we can begin a new era in Devil's Bowl autocrosses. We will be able to use the parking lot AND the track.
now where will be park the cars...???

Thanks Paul! We should come up with a plan to move the trailer down. I won't be able to do it that weekend because of Kate's graduation.

I'm considering going to Devil's Bowl Friday (tomorrow) evening to watch their races, which includes an ENDURO!!!
Not sure if that helps, since Justin will no doubt be busy with the profitable racers, but if the trailer is here I'm happy to tow it down.
Of course, the trailer is not here...
Is it packed and ready to go?
