Hey guys, I'll be there. I will need to borrow a helmet though, I tried to get one from a local guy buy he's been unresponsive. Hopefully I'll have my own by the next event. See everyone tomorrow.

P.S. I was going to hand-deliver my club registration on Tuesday but my roommate was nice enough to mail the envelope for me without checking first. I'm not sure if this is going to cause any problems or not...

What a great day we AUTO-crossers got weather held off all day, and a fun track, only one small incident with the wall but that's devils bowl for ya!
Thanks everyone that came out even with the dismal forecast, and we hope to see you in Three weeks for Devilsbowl auto-x #2

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped out. This event represents a changing of the guard for SCCV autocrossing. Sure, we had our first-event hiccups (timing, radios, communication, coordination), but these are a call-to-arms for making improvements.
Workers, we should have done a better job communicating with you what the issue was that caused delays in the run groups. Noted!
A few of us discussed using the complimentary admission tickets we were given to go watch the race at Devil's Bowl the night before our next autocross and camping there that night.
Besides, I have a surprise for the next autocross at Devil's Bowl...June 14.

^^what Paul said! Great event I had a great time seeing old faces and meeting new ones, made me remember why I like motorsport people and events so much. Well that and getting to beat the snot out of the 5000, that was a really good time too.

My awful texted/compressed video LANGUAGE WARNING. Back straight slalom got me the first time around ;)

The results will be up in a little while. the laptop with the results and the folks that are needed to get the results online are a bit scattered at the moment.
