SCCV Auto-x #4, Aug 23rd Airbourne speedway

Post by ricker96 » Wed Aug 19, 2015 8:57 pm

AUTO-X #4, sunday aug 23rd, at Airbourne Speedway

Registration will be onsite for this event. Bring cash/check to the event.

We need your help to make these autocrosses happen. We need some new faces to help run the events. Some of the regulars may be missing this year. So if we want the events, WE have to make them happen.
We also need big turnouts to make the events possible in the future, without people competing at events the club cannot afford to pay for the venue we all get to compete at!

For Auto-x #4 we need the following:
Chair- Ricky G
Co- Jeremy Haas
Registrar-
asst Registrar-

Tech inspector 1-
Tech inspector 2-

Worker coordinator 1-
Worker coordinator 2

If you can do one of these tasks, please post in this thread.

Price is $40 member $50 nonmember.

Spread the word. Get your car ready. New comers start asking your questions....you know you are curious about something.

Make sure your battery is secured. You need a M or SA 2000 rated helmet or newer. IT MUST HAVE the foil snell sticker. Looks like this:

Usually the sticker can be found inside the helmet under the padding somewhere.

If it isn't bolted down inside your car, take it out. Make sure you have no loose suspension bits(grab each of your four wheels) and shake it in every direction possible, there should be no play. It's easier to check with the wheel jacked in the air

I dropped the ball on posting this in the forums, sorry to anyone that checks in on the forums.
please spread the word about SCCV auto-x #4, if we don't get at least 25 to 30 entries this event it may lead to us postponing the remainder of the auto-x season. SCCV doesn't want to do this but the club can't afford to lose money at every event.

Results are going to take a while. Very few penalties were entered into the computer. No off courses were entered in. The results have to be adjusted to the paper results.

Results are up. Please let me know if something is not right. I tried to catch all the penalties from the written sheet.viewtopic.php?f=24&t=4235
