Paul,

Great job and great course. The Jetta really was hookin' up with just the super studs in the front.

"She was doing great till we lost oil pressure!"

Thanks to all for helping me out--Especially Jim for towing me off the lake and carting away the "snow" so's I could get rid of it. Safely in a metal barrel! Anyone who cleaned up gets a free brew on me at the next club meeting.

:drinkers:

Moby II is back together and running fine. Phew! Debbie took the news rather well.

Guess I need a shield or a different car for this kind of fun.

Next weekend will be a last-minute call. If possible, there will absolutely be an event. Warm and snowy is not a great combination for ITT, and we need to be conservative on this one for obvious reasons. It is possible that a good snowfall will insulate the ice from the warmth and that all we'll have to do is plow a course for the event. Keep checking the forums.
I finally got my first flat super stud tire...today. Yes I woke up this morning and, as I do every morning, stick a thumb into the sidewall to feel for pressure loss. The tire had lost its first outer nut and washer. It took 412 miles, but I guess I'll have to buy a tire plug.
Big thanks to Jim and Laura for helping to smooth out the rough spots. Are the results posted?
I guess I can check for myself.

If I go this weekend, I can bring a big jack if someone reminds me. Won't be on the top of my mind as I won't be changing tires.

I give up trying to make the pictures the right size...and pictures. Anyway, if you look close you can see our new official SCCV autocross start cone under the right front tire.

There was a brief mention and a picture in the Colchester sun. Article quote "On Sunday, Feb 21 racing enthusiasts gathered on Mallet's Bay to compete in time-trials on a track set up by the Sports Car Club of Vermont. Drivers paid $20 each to participate and were required to wear helmets."
