Hey Paul, what kind of gnarly boots are those? I think you were wearing them at the race yesterday, they pull on over your normal boots?

I think they are called stableicers or something like that. There are few similar products out there. Another name is Yak trax.
I know we sell some here at our retail shop(sugarbush), but you should be able to find them at the outdoor shops in burlington like alpine shop, etc.

Paul, they are called NEOS, or New England Over Shoes. About $100 for a pair. They are warm and fit over your driving shoes...sweet!
Good to see you this weekend. Happy trails.

Hi all,

I'll be at Stowe, VT on the weekend of Feb 22nd-24th on a skiing trip with my friends. Guess it is too early to tell, but tentatively is there any ice time trail scheduled on that Sunday at Mallets Bay?

Hello Zeus.
It's true, the ice season is a fickle mistress. That said, the ice is better this year than in the past few. So there is a chance. I feel that there is a better chance of our event being on a Saturday instead. Keep checking back as the date gets closer.
Where are you vacationing from?

How did the past weekend's snow affect ice formation on the lakes?

Also throwing in my two cents, if an ITT is on for this coming weekend, I was really hoping for Sunday because I live in central Mass and have obligations here for Saturday morning. Besides, Monday is President's Day.
