Philo pics are up!

Post by Dave_G »

I've finally managed to get through all the photos I took Sunday and edit and sort the best ones. I have put the photos up in my web gallery (the SCCV photo gallery is ill at the moment), and you can see them at:

I had a great time. Next year I hope we have more workers so I can roam with my camera and not be stuck at one checkpoint. It was a nice photo spot, but a little more variety in composition might be nice. :)

A lot of nice shots in there... love the blurred background (how do you do that straight-on?)

Can I get original/full res of some of them?

Great pics Dave. It's interesting to see the front of the Subie rise near the top of the suspension. That sensation happened many times on the hill. Dave, are those pictures from check 3?

I could really see your front end load and unload at check 3, it was pretty neat.

Tim was the only one from VermontRacing.com that was taking photos. Nick and I were spending our time driving. I'm working on in-car video from my Golf and I gave Joey Kale his in-car video (I lent him my camera) so that might be up.

I dunno -- how do you drive so fast? :P

Seriously, with a zoom lens, you change the focal length (i.e. zoom out or in) while the shutter is open.

PM sent.

Hopefully this works.... I can't edit video right now (Adobe Premiere has the finished video warping even though the sound is on cue... no clue what is wrong).

One of Joey's runs up the hill on Sunday afternoon.
