Mt Washington Hillclimb.... I just sent in my "application". Fingers are crosses.

Rules, entry, volunteer information, etc. posted at: http://www.climbtotheclouds.com/

Here is the video of when Nick, Charlie, Joey, me went up the mountain earlier this year. (honest!)

Why don't you spill the beans on the secret project you plan to drive? :drive1:

I haven't told most people about the Rabbit yet.... R32 driveline/6-speed with the 2.0 turbo instead. Dyno'ed at 535AWD HP. Pretty impressive numbers for a pipedream.

That was awesome. Good luck to all those who enter. I thought the course record was 6:41?? Travis ran 6:20?? In practice?? I'd say it is pretty much a given that the course record will fall ths year (weather permitting)... :partyman:

There has been a lot of discussion on this matter....

10 years later there is a lot more pavement
He had a navigator

That isn't to say that he CAN'T beat Frank's record, but the playing field needs to be level and other competitors need an opportunity to make an attempt.

I KNEW there had to be more to it. The Navigator made a difference no doubt, Travis even said so. Of course, what the navigator was saying made little sense to me! I thought there was alot of pavement as well ( I have no reference as too more or less though)..

The best part of the video I thought was when he hit the rock near the end and the navigator says "check for punctures"... :D
