SLMP I pictures (2006)

Post by Dave_G »

Pictures are up! Relive the excitement! See it all! The thrills!! The spills!!

Oh, wait. Actually, it's just a bunch of pictures of people and cars, but you can see them at

http://www.daveguertin.net/gallery2/car ... 006-06-04/

I'll add my one lap of in-car video sometime later.

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic weekend.

Oh, and sorry I wasn't able to get everyone's car.

The in-car video is up in the gallery now, too. It's nothing special, and the sound sux, but you can see it at http://www.daveguertin.net/gallery2/d/7 ... -06-04.wmv

I'm sure Jason has a better one. :)

What is up with all the cones in the middle of the track?! I thought the cones were supposed to go in the EDGE of the track in the grass.

The cones were placed because Steve tore up the track on Sunday morning, in his Golf with the "completely stock engine".

I guess all the rain softened up the ground under the pavement, and the weight of the car cause some pieces of pavement to come loose.

But how did you get those pictures of you driving? ;)

I am slighlty jealous of Dave's camera - it's better than my Digital Rebel. And really jealous of that lens.

I haven't started looking at my video footage yet. Perhaps today, after I was the car.

With the way we were driving (ok, me).....he needed a lens that long to be at a safe distance away to get the shots.

Video of my best lap of the weekend. It's only as fast as Paul was able to go in the wet on Saturday though.
