Nope, I blew the engine in my kit car there in 2002. People came running toward me with fire extinguishers. I knew the engine blew, but didn't know about the huge smoke cloud since the engine is (was) in the rear of the car. haha

All because of the stupid squirrels filling the cooling shroud with nuts and other junk while it was in storage. :(

Best description I've heard so far, I think. But you forgot "death trap".

I remember that....some serious carnage on that one.

For the life of me, I can't remember his name, but he brought his peugot wagon to slmp and it did not survive.

Joe... But that was not a catastrophic fail, he just spun a bearing IIRC. I know you were really upset about not getting to drive the "mail truck" home....

I was trying to repress that memory.

Just tried to find a picture of it on the internet, but no luck.

I did find this which I thought was pretty neat.

Sounds like quite the weekend! I ran out of tires and funding, and instead got all wrapped up in garage rebuilding...

looked fun, I'd like to go someday but I'll probably want to trailer my car down in case of any mishaps

Not to add work to anybody's "plate", but the results for SLMP IV were never posted (other than the class winners i posted in this thread)...

Thx!
