Not that it matters Butch, but we had a speed gun back in '09 and checked. Kale was quickest at 95ish (in his stripped down black car), then me at 90 (in the VR-4), and iirc the next fastest were around 80-85 (Russ in the Cobra, etc).

Maybe someone who was there can corroborate that?

Coool so I will plan on gearing the truck for about 85mph since the last time I was there with the blazer I think I was close to 90 back then and the truck should be faster since it is 1000lbs lighter and if not I will just change them lol .....but any way it goes it will be a blast for sure :3gears: :drive1:

I spoke with the track owner today. We're all set for our event. He's got a shifter cart group from Canada coming this weekend, so there will be at least a "little" rubber on the track before we get there!

Butch, there will be a few of us there as early as 1:00 in the afternoon, and folks will trickle all the way in into the wee hours of the night. Since you have one of the larger truck/trailer rigs, do you want us to "reserve" a particular spot for you?

For those planning on driving on Friday. Please refer to the initial post, and bring cash to pay directly to the owner. The official SCCV event is Saturday and Sunday. Friday's arrangements are between YOU and the track owner.

Thanks, and looking forward to a fast and fun weekend.

Thank and I plan on being there some where around 5 or 6 pm and the only thing that would be nice is that I have room for the truck and trailer and something that is half way level other than that no I do not need anything special thanks :3gears:

Probably going to be driving up Saturday morning - what time should I aim to be there?

Whenever you want after 7:00 for those that may be sleeping. We'll shoot for an 8:30 driver's meeting.
