16 is breakeven. This is assuming the member rate for the weekend.

16 2-day entries at the member rate is the break-even.

Yes. Alternatively, if ALL 13 agree to split the difference in cost to bridge the gap, then the event can go on.

Basically the bottom line is that the SCCV can't afford for the event to happen at a loss.
