SCCNH/DriftSpot.net - June 19 @ NHMS

http://www.sccnh.org/drift.html

From the link:
We have joined with DriftSpot.net to put the exciting sport of drifting on our schedule. Drifting refers to a driving technique and to a motorsport where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels through turns, while maintaining vehicle control and a high exit speed. A car is said to be drifting when the rear slip angle is greater than the front slip angle prior to the corner apex, and the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn (e.g. car is turning left, wheels are pointed right or vice versa), and the driver is controlling these factors. As a motorsport, the drivers are judged on their drifting technique.

DriftSpot.net will bring their expertise to these events. They run the event, set the rules, do registration, setup the course and provide instruction. These events are for those that are learning and practicing the special techniques of drifting in a safe controlled environment. There are several experienced instructors available to teach the techniques.

To get the full details visit DriftSpot.net. Be sure to check out the Event Information page for the Rules and Regulations and the Event Information. They also have online registration which opens 30 days before the events.

Pre-registration is preferred and cost less, $75. There is a limit of 100 cars, register early. On-site registration will be available for any open spots at $100.

Maybe if I ran space savers in the rear I could get the back end to break out some!
