MOHUD AUTOCROSS, OCTOBER 9

Post by pdudley42 »

To all wishing for another SCCV autocross, fear not. SCCA/MOHUD is having an autocross at the Wilton Mall in Saratoga Springs this Sunday!!! Check out http://mohud-scca.org/Solo/ for more info. Looks like $40 to enter for non scca members. Weather looks great, come on out.

Big fun, small lot. It reopened my eyes to how creative you can be with course design if you are okay with having only one car on course at a time. Some very good drivers, lots of spectators, and a food court for lunch! No less than 5 Evos.

Nick and Paul did an awesome job representing SCCV. Tight track fair grip....the style points were high all around.
We are fortunate to have a national course designer in Mo-Hud. He does alot with limited tarmac.
As always it was great to run with you guys once again. I hope next year we can run more events together as I believe a good time was had by all. The competition level was high yet relaxed.

Yeah, Phil's (Shoe) right. It was a neat mix of competitive competitors, yet no one seemed to be losing sight of the big picture...having fun.
And no, I think only two of the Evos beat us. Nick did however, beat me.

It was a great battle among us regular folks. But the RPI guys are starting to get their poop in a group and kinda stunk up the show with the FSAE car ( the "thing" is quick) and 2 of the 4 managed to come to terms with the "thing". Any way the rest of us did have fun in our regular cars.
I think if Larson was there we could have had more fun.
