Very nice.

I've never seen a dome like that in the middle of a piston....interesting. What's the compression ratio now?

Compression ratio should stay close to the stock 8.2

You can throw some serious boost at that compression ratio! :3gears:

Everything is back together and in the car. I put about 200 miles on it yesterday. Car sounds great. Laura is going to put another 200-300 miles on it today, and then off to Burke hillclimb on friday. Hopefully that will be enough of a break in.

I have Friday off... figure I can help by putting 500 miles on it for you. :drinkers:

See you tonight for the camera mount. Remind me to give you the SD card for Marcel.

first event with the new motor was Burke Hillclimb. it went well except I believe the stop leak I put in it to get through Ascutney Hillclimb killed the radiator. While the car never overheated the temp gauge did want to climb. So pretty much every run I was watching the temp gauge and backing off when it started to move. I did manage one run on Sunday morning that was almost at full speed, but i was still watching the gauge and backing off a little. Over all I got close to my best time last year, but wasnt any faster.

So I installed this today.

The car was running decent while you were beating on it, but partial throttle the car seemed to run kinda rich. Trying to drive it on the street the car runs really rich. July 2nd I am taking the car down to EFI Logics to get it re tuned now the motor is in. Maybe we will turn the boost up some more now and squeeze a little more out of it. :3gears:
