Oh I totally forgot to post about my recent paint job.

I rattle canned the entire car again. This time it got a 3-stage rattle job. Primer, base color, and matte clear.

I wrote the whole thing up here ... http://www.3si.org/forum/f1/lawdogg-s-r ... gh-461283/ I think you guys can see it if you want to, you shouldn't have to sign up.

Anyway it came out great! Some new pics. Absolutely no editing to these, just RAW to jpg converted then uploaded.

That looks really good Ryan...not completely flat but has a little shine, like an "eggshell" finish.
And....lawn chair passenger seats FTW!

I can help you w/ that - Do you have a schedule you're planning on, Ryan? - Still doing some family stuff in NNY, may be heading back to VT tomorrow (Tues), and may try to get the MINI on a friend's lift here before returning (Jason ID'ed a potential suspension issue at SLMP I want to check/repair before Stowe #1) - also would like to do a quick trip to Napierville this Fri nite...

Oh, awesome. Thanks! No I don't really have a set schedule, it's just one of those things I'd love to do whenever I can find time. I'll be out of town Tues-Weds but will be around Th / Fri. Maybe as Fri gets closer I'll think about heading up to Napierville with you guys ... but I'm still running just 14psi.

Anyway let me know when you're around, maybe over at Russ's, and I can bring the hood over to take a look at. I would love just to be told how to do it, you know? :)

Going to be a street car for now. I might get the urge to road course it, maybe some drags, but just street for now.

So the ECU I got in the car was trash. Russ replaced the capacitors in it with skill and grace, but the board was too far gone to save. I am borrowing another ECU from a friend - which had bad capacitors when I first tried it - and then I replaced them.

Before the Capacitor replacement, just at idle:

92 Dodge Stealth TT ECU Test Pre-Capacitor Repair

After the cap replacement:

92 Dodge Stealth TT ECU Test

Anyone notice anything odd about the second video? Specifically right as I rev from idle. I'm trying to figure out if it sounds good or not. :p
