What's the make of the new project... you have to at least tell us that.
I probably should tell you, but that would ruin the surprise.

What can I tell you that won't totally give it away? This car has been driven at an autocross by a sccv member, but not this year, nor last.
The person I am buying it from has driven at slmp with sccv, but not with this car.
This model car(but not necessarily the same year) has autocrossed with sccv this year. Hoping to pick it up either Thursday or sometime this weekend(dependent on many factors). Here is the biggest clue, for hillclimbs it would be placed in SP3.

.....and it's home in my driveway. What a long strange trip.
I spent an hour circling manchester, before dropping off the Saab, and then drove another hour to pick up this car, load it up and drive it home.

I'm going to need an autocross before philo to make sure all is well, and learn how it handles differently than Denny.

The battery was dead on it when I got there. The owner was gone for the weekend, but left me the keys to the car and access to his shop. It has the subaru alarm in it. So guess what happens when you give an otherwise dead battery some juice.....the alarm goes off. It took me a while to figure out how to turn it off, as the key fob was dead. The neighbors must have loved me. I was just waiting for the police to show up, as I was loading the car on the trailer, without the prior owner around.
Note to self, loud alarms really don't do much.
So I need to give it a name.
Obvious things it needs short term.
Passenger side headlight.
Rotor need replacing as they have sat too long. I might need pads.
Oil change and brake fluid flush.
Otherwise it appears race ready.
The nose is slightly tweeked, as is the rear, but nothing I can't live with.

I have a perfect name...

Peaches.

I was thinking along the lines of Chewey(as in the wookie), but peaches might just work. Thanks for the suggestion.
