New project a comin'

Post by sachilles »

Two people from this forum know what it is.........keep your trap shut. :butthead:  don't ruin it for everyone.

A teaser for the rest of you.
I got a little frustrated with the "progress" on morris. The Morris project is NOT dead. I wanted something that I could do some of the faster events with and not have to worry about how I was getting to work the next day, if I cracked it up. This car currently fits the bill.

As it sits, it should be class 2, and very competitive there.
Probably won't have to worry about break-out times at the hill climbs(no cage YET).
It doesn't have a name yet.
It has a metal roof.
It does not have forced induction.
Hope to grab it this weekend. Pictures when I do.

You do realize that Morris is to have a b16 with an integra type R tranny, along with Honda suspension and brakes(at least in the front). So does that count as being over to the dark side yet....considering I started out with VW's and Audis.

So I do have plenty of Honda parts kicking around the house.

Sounds intriguing.

We don't need any more fast cars in class 2!?!

'08 9.3 SportCombi - Family Wagon.
'87 900 - 8 valves of pure fury.
'91 Legacy AWD - Sold :(

'87 4Kquattro - Gone, but not forgotten

Baab is going bye bye.
A friend of a friend wants to fix it up to give to an older gentleman in his parish.
Given that it's an auto and in decent enough shape, I thought that was a good use for it.

A b16 with an ITR transmission is still a blast. I would love to see it when it's finished. Power to weight ratio will be really nice too.

What's the make of the new project... you have to at least tell us that.
