Good luck. I am sure they will help you out. As long as things don't start showing up missing from my car. LOL

Stopped by to see what is going on at Kale's Custom. Joey and James can work some magic. Somehow managed knock the dents out of the car and turn it into a 4 door.

It's amazing what Joey and James can do.
Some how they turned my two door 99 2.5rs into a 02 Bugeye.

More pictures to follow. They did all the major work swapping the drivetrain from Ross over to the new chassis which has been named Scrappy. So I dropped Ross off at the shop, and drove out Scrappy. He runs, stops etc. They also made some additions to the pre-existing rollcage. In order to get it race ready, I have a bunch of misc wiring and other odd jobs. Everything should be able to be done in my driveway(except an alignment) when it stops being a mud pit. More pictures will follow as time permits.
Goal is to have the car ready in May.

Just a quick update. Had a few minutes to work on things. Lots of little things to do.
I picked up some sti struts and h&r springs from the Cota's, to switch out my coilovers. Turns out my coilovers have a few issues. Left front strut is blown. Sleeves cracked on the left rear. So the Sti setup will be a short term setup(unless I like it) while I get the coilovers rebuilt.

Lots of little wiring connections to chase down. I need new tail light harnesses, as the bulb sockets don't match the current body. Need to get the fuel gauge working. I need to get the wiring hooked up for the front window motors, and maybe the mirrors.

Need to replace the radiator and make a top support for it. Radiator survived the wreck at philo, but the top mounting tabs did not.

Need to mount the seat harnesses and the seats themselves. I may raise the drivers seat a touch.

If it ever warms up, I plan to paint the interior floor as well as the new additions to the cage.

Then when all is said and done, I'll get it aligned.
Spoke with DMV inspector about getting the car a reconstructed vin and registered as an exhibition vehicle.

Below you can see the family resemblance. Scrappy looks an awful lot like Coal. They must be twin brothers from separate mothers.
It's awfully handy having an 02 wrx and an old RS hanging around as a guide for wiring and such.

Yeah, that's our old countertops on the deck. Want them? Looks like a redneck wonderland around my driveway at the moment. Can't wait until this snow melts to start clearing everything out.
