If I want to stay in STS when I visit NER SCCA then I can't touch the engine. It's pretty stout stock though, but that's again due to weight.

Today I switched the Japanese cluster out in favor of the original stock one, 10 minutes and now I can tell how fast I'm going without using my GPS unit.

Next up will be a shifter extender. Some would be willing to spend $38 on a circuit hero extension, I'll make my own out of a turnbuckle for $10. The car has a B&M short shifter that's just a touch too far away for my tastes.

And here's a shot of the outside of the car as I tooled around today. I've been driving it around locally watching temps and checking for leaks. I figure it's better to find these now while local than later while driving to Stowe or Devens. It's also fun driving around on snowy roads with a rear sway bar set to full hard.

I get a lot of smiles from people who see this car. It's kind of a novelty how small it is. And noisy with that custom exhaust lol. Those lower slots in the front lip will get brake ducts, another project for this winter.

Other than the listed options I'm going to clean things up inside and out. Sand the body down and fix the small amount of cancer on the rear quarters and then get her painted silver like the RSX.

Anybody have experience with the Hankook Ventus R-S3? It's one of the few tires that comes in 225/45-15, which is what I need for the CRX.

Just ordered a MOMO Monte Carlo steering wheel, MOMO hub and Omnipower quick release which should bring the wheel out a bit further from the dash and be more comfortable.

Car is schedule for a meeting with Mr. Kale in the next couple weeks.

I'm game. An AWD CRX with 400whp would be pretty ridiculous.

I saw this a while ago. Pretty nice car. Too bad the AWD systems never really advanced to the point where Subaru is. Even the CRV has a weird AWD system that is really still front wheel drive. I think it's a 90/10 power split for the Civic and CRV. Honda Tuning also put a CRV drive train in an Integra.

Here is what you should really do!!!

I have always dreamed of making a RWD Honda someday similar to the Integra at the link above... :)

Joey, I'm not sure how I would work that bill past the wife \:D/

I remember that H22 mid-engine Teg, cool project and he documented it really well.

If I were to do anything like that I would use a motorcycle engine, lighter and you get the sequential box with it.

Alas, this car will retain it's current drivetrain for now.

Here's an AWD CRX: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4PxGsA7 ... re=related

Mean looking thing too.

The "original" awd CRX had two engines.

Speaking of car lust, I still pine for my '87 CRX Si. What a fine little tramp she was.
