I remember reading that article when it came out - C&D also later did the same w/ an Accord IIRC - I had saved the article thinking "someday" when I had my GLH Turbo....

I was really excited to read that until I saw that both engines were running automatic trannys. Granted the shift linkage for a manual setup would be pretty extensive.

My Momo steering wheel and quick release came today (quick release makes it easier to get in the car lol. Damn small car for me to climb in)

Too bad the hub doesn't work.. CRX's have a smaller spline shaft than later Honda's so it's time to order another one and wait.

Also, need opinions on 6-point harnesses. I know G-force makes some on the cheap but I'd like somebody with experience to chime in.

Don't discount the G-Force harness just because it's cheap. I have two in my Miata, and while I have fortunately never had the opportunity to test them out (knock on wood), I can't see where they are any less safe or convenient than others.

One thing to watch out for with the G-Force 6-point harness: you can get the lap belts with pull-up or pull-down sliders. The pull-down belts carry both SFI (2-year) and FIA (5-year) ratings. The pull-up belts only carry an SFI (2-year) rating. Don't ask me why the two styles should be different, but they are. So if you are running with groups that check the expiration dates on your harness (and they should), you'll need to replace the pull-up harness 2.5 times as often as the pull-down harness, which is a powerful argument to make sure you get the pull-down one. It's too bad because the pull-up adjusters are more convenient (at least in my seats) -- but not THAT much more convenient.

I had a G-Force pull down harness in my Legends car. It was a 5 point wiht the old style latch, not the cam lock thing. I DID have to use mine a few times. It worked just fine. I had a few hits with the wall and other cars. No soft walls either. Just concret. I never had any injuries, just a little soar.

Great feedback. I wasn't knocking G-force for the price, just wanted to make sure nobody had a bad experience with them.

I prefer the old latch style but the info on the style and rating changes is much appreciated info. The car is getting caged and harnesses primarily to run with New England Hillclimb Assoc. and they very much care about safety.

That reminds me that I need to call Joey to make sure I can drop the car off this weekend...

And here's his winter beater:

Is there a local place to service fuel injectors and check flow rates?
