A fan now is cheaper than and engine later.

Thanks guys! Time to research a good (read: cheapest thing that will get the job done) fan replacement.

Ok, so I replaced the fan with a Permacool 10" fan (2350cfm) and it works great. Also installed a ETX14 DEKA PowerSport Battery. Charlie (Gerry) fixed my exhaust leak, by welding a pipe in place of the cat. We're back in business!

So now I'm at a crossroads.

Do I hold onto the car, not being able to drive it, being in Chicago for the summer as well as next year and foreseeable future? Plan being to turbo it, make it look nice and enjoy. But ... won't be able to do it like ... ever, as far as I can tell, given the move to Chicago, unless I have it out here which is impossible.

Or do I sell it? What would this thing even sell for? I mean, the *ahem* #1 placing non-race-tire Miata at Devils Bowl #1 that is ... hahah

I'll drive it for you if you want :D
You can probably get your money's worth out of it, and then buy another Miata when you have time for it.

This is by far the roomiest Miata I've ever been in. :)

Pretty good aim. Looks like it landed on the front of the car where it belongs.
