Shakedown is proceeding as planned:
Last night on the way home from the meeting the alternator belt snapped in Colchester, and then a mile later front passenger side caliper seized. Lots of idiot lights were blinking as I nursed it slowly back home.
Good thing I bought a new battery last week!

Ha, well after sitting for two years, it's not unexpected...I, too, am glad it made it home.
The voltmeter was reading 15v when the belt snapped, by the time I got home (with very little use of the high beams, seat heaters off, radio off, fan blowing slow), it was reading 10v, so it didn't have too much travel left in it.

You'll want to buy a couple extra alternator belts and get good at the "crank engine to install" method. You can go months before it throws an alternator belt, or it can throw a new one in a day, but once it gets thrown it'll keep popping off regularly.

Good to know. All the remaining belts look pretty bad, the car sat for several years. The alternator started squealing somewhat regularly the day I lost the belt, so it was definitely slipping.
I don't know if it snapped or popped off. I'd think if it was tensioned and then re-tensioned after a short stretch period, it wouldn't pop them so frequently.
