Well, at least it's still north of the M-D line [I can say that since I was born south of it 8) ].

Just a short drive to our Devil's Bowl events too. *hint hint*

The Albany area is booming with tech jobs, it was on my list of places to move after I finished grad school. But, I lucked out and found work up here.

soooo what happened you may ask

well we did go up to the Albany area on Memorial Day weekend, I had arranged an interview with the M+W Group
which initially was supposed to be at their Watervliet (Albany) office but that got changed to their on site office in Malta
which turns out is the Global Foundries site
the interview went pretty well, I had a job offer Fed Exed to me that Friday
two weeks later I was learning to be a process piping designer, still am

we spent the first 3 weeks in the wifes sisters place with no AC in an upstairs apt
but since then we've been renting a place here in Malta, so I'm literally 5 minutes from work

sadly both sports car in storage at moms place in VA until we have some extra money, the wifes house needs to rent or sell

if anyone in the engineering/designer/draftsman field is looking for work both Global Foundries and M+W Group are hiring
