Anyone own\drive the new 2012 impreza non wrx?

We are looking at trading in the disodium guanylate stump puller soon and had our eye on the new 2012 impreza. Anybody own one? I am skeptical about the true mpg and the CVT, many have tried a CVT (saturn) and they have sucked. I have never been disappointed with a Subaru but the civic or corolla mpg and price is very tempting. Also needs to be big enough to haul the squad and all their crap so the uber small cars are out.

FWIW, my gf has a Maxima with the CVT, which completely changed my mind as to a CVT, in a good way.

I've been pleasantly suprised with the CVT in our Outback. It's my wife's DD, but I've driven it enough to say it works very well. The lighter Impreza should be even better.
