We'll be there with Bert One, the same Volvo 262C Bertone coupe we raced last year, only now yellow instead of green: :) (http://www.facebook.com/LemonsBertOne)

Stop by our garage and say hi! We'll look for you! I think we should be somewhere up front near the tech garage where we were last year.

We just got back this weekend from our first race of the season at Monticello, NY. It was an amazing weekend as usual. Old Bert is rocking a turbo now, and is really fast, and a hoot to drive. Sadly, the transmission decided it didn't like all that extra power we were asking it to deliver to the wheels, and a few hours into the race blew up in dramatic and very noisy fashion. We spent about three hours swapping in our old spare (the we removed from our old cow car when it started making noises), and ran all day Sunday with no trouble. But we're still looking at a transmission upgrade to a T5 that should be happier with our turbo. (Anyone know anything about swapping a T5 into a Volvo? :) )

Here's the Car and Driver report from Friday inspection:

And Day 1 of the race:

Bert got a picture in both articles -- I think they like us. :D

The Day 2 article hasn't been posted yet, but it should be soon.
