It looks like there is some miscommunication with the bmw club.
They aren't getting the lot for $375. They took the $750 number and halved it. $500 is the one day price.
So they are paying the same as what we are paying.
Incidentally, do we have a deposit check coming?

The latest from John:
Jason,

Kyle sent me an email last night with a contract and you are correct the
fee is $500 for 1 day.

BMWCCA will be able to provide insurance for this event as long as we
get waivers signed by all involved.

As far as I can see this all looks like a go to me and I don't think we
need an formal contract or agreement. (between SCCV and VT-BMWCCA) But it would be nice to get
together and discuss and get things all planned out.

I am going to let Kyle know the event is a go and get her contract in
place and we'll take it from there!! I'm also going to get word out to
our other area clubs right away. We will be more than happy to include
the SCCV in our promotional pieces!!

Thanks Jason, Lets try to get together the week after the 4th!!

John
I told John we (SCCV) could look at this as a recruitment effort among other things, that's where the promotional stuff came from.

At what point do we mention this to the club membership at large? And how?

I think it all depends on the BMW club and how many of "us" they are going to let in.. With a lot the size of Sugarbush, I think we could easily handle 50 cars for an event... After all, we've handled 54 for an event at VTC last year.. :D
