Actually, event better. When we finalize our yearly schedule, we can also publish the dates that registration opens for just such events. That way its on our schedule right from the start.

Isn't this how some of the HPDE clubs do it too?

I like this idea. It gives everyone a fair shake to get in. Really, it's about motivation, and not procrastinating. If you want to go, then you need to be ready and mail in you form and check, the day it is announced. Simple. :D

Great idea! I'd much rather know a fair bit ahead of time, and no one can complain if they know they have to send a check by X date at the beginning of the year.

I will mail you one to your house. That is the easiest way for me since I work two jobs.
I am sending you two checks today: 1 for July 22nd Auto-X and 1 for SLMP 2.

I just got this from Nick G (how many times can I confuse Nick G and Nick W?)

Hi Jason,

I've had a setback getting my lotus ready so can you disregard the
registration I sent in for SLMP July 28, 29?

Thanks,
Nick Goldberg

So, who's next on the list?

Nick, were you going to post up a "Stand-by" list? I know we spoke very briefly about it one night, but I don't remember what direction that went. (memory not what it use to be :? )
