I think he only has one jeep left, and that's in the garage. The very first picture was from his driveway.

2 Jeeps, though one is Meg's winter beater and the other will become a beautiful sports car when (I finally get off my butt) it comes out of it's cocoon.

Then I will wear it out or wreck it, and sell it off cheap to someone that will race it. :?

More work done today. Worked on seat mounting, and few other misc. welding items.
Suppose to go work on it on tuesday and should know if it's good to go or not for this weekend.
Things left to do:
Paint the cage.
dash install (partial).
Glass put back in.
Non sunroof, roof panel installed.
Doors reinstalled.
Register car
drive it to Philo.

Two things prevented me from bringing home a ready to race subaru.
I didn't get to the DMV to get plates, and the adhesive for the windows really should cure inside the shop overnight as it's going to be too cold tonight. I'd have pictures, but the window urethane got all over my hands, and I didn't dare risk getting it on the camera.

It'll be ready for Philo \:D/
Minor things left to do.
Get it registered and put the plates on.
Safety wire the clips on the seat belt harness.
Re-install the fire extinguisher.
Put the windshield wipers on.

Other stuff still needs to be done, but it can wait.

If you can't get it on the road and need help getting it towed to the event, just ask.

Thanks Steve,
I should be good, I drove it yesterday without the windshield. All seems normal.
Going to drive it home today.
I curious to see how it handles with the cage in there, yet a ton of other weight gone. Chassis is definitely stiffer(as it should be).
It's ugly, but functional.

Though the other nagging thing is I took out the door switches, as that is where the main hoop goes. So now it thinks the door is ajar

Very hasty pictures, but Ross is back in my driveway. Drove real nice. No chance to work on it tonight
Needs a good cleaning and some paint, beside the work needed to be ready for this weekend.
