Nick G and Bev have both expressed interest in renting a car. Neither is committed at this point, but we don't want to Lebanon this opportunity. Any word on if we can do 2 heats?
Do we have a total committed count?

Re: SCCV & Devils Bbowl Daredevil Races - Sept 15th or 16th
Just got off the phone with Justin from Devil's Bowl. He said that we would have more time to play with the cars on track on Saturday. I told him our group seemed to have more availability on Sunday. That sounded okay too. He also said that we could bring a couple of cars down and set up a "display" in the grass behind the grandstands to promote our event. That could be just what we need to bring up our car count. My good Miata is on jackstands through the weekend; any takers? It would also be helpful to have a flyer or something to give details of our autocrosses there. I can be there Sunday and am happy to spend time by our vehicles if that works out. Since we (will) be running their rental cars that night it would be great to give a good showing.
Again I must impress just how excellent it is to have a venue that WANTS us there...even if it is not the perfect autocross venue.

I'll get a "handout" together.
I'll be at ascutney, so I won't be able to participate.

Re: SCCV & Devils Bbowl Daredevil Races - Sept 15th or 16th
Okay so here is the latest final version. I spoke with Justin again today and he said that our only option for renting the cars is Saturday; but that that is a good option and we are very welcome. Apparently Sunday is just too packed with heats to fit us in. So that means I am out along some others. It would do our cause well to have five drivers for this event.
Also we are still welcome to bring some autocross/sports cars down with flyers and have a display in the spectator area. Justin said we are welcome to leave them there overnight if we want to have them there for both days.
Gates open at 9:00 in the pits; racing starts at 1:30.

Sorry guys for dropping out there, got called away. Thanks Paul for picking things up with Justin.
I'd be out for saturday (gonna be in CT for a wedding), though I know some people that may be interested if we dont have enough.
