Does anybody have a source? Local would be best but an internet source would be a good second choice.
I want to follow Tire Rack's recommendation for using metal valve stems for running on fast tracks like NHMS. Also, I want something better than the stems that you can by at Auto Zone or Bond that are chrome and/or made in China. Something like these Alligator-Ventilfabrik stems would be perfect:

(these are not available in the US unless you want to buy a lot more than four)
Source for high quality metal bolt in valve stems?

Thanks for the post!
I assume that you are talking about the "Low Profile Brass Valve Stems — 50265", is that right? If so, have you used these before? It looks like they have the nut on the inside which seems like it could be a problem if the nut comes loose.

I just did a quick internet search... I was actually looking for valve stem supports that I have seen on some cars. It is a brace that holds the valve step. I have never used anything other than normal valve steps..... don't normally go 160 mph in my car.
