ICE Law Enforcement Support Center in Williston, Vermont
One note: The write up below states that this is a job with a grade that starts as GS-5 and goes to GS-7, but it further states that it goes to a GS-11 (that is the FPL GS-11 part of the email; Full Performance Level), but I am not seeing that in the actual job announcement (or I missed it). I believe it is only a GS 5-7. Jobs do not jump from 7 to 11, there needs to be a 9 in there also.
Here are the grades/steps if you're interested: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversig ... df/RUS.pdf
With that said... I have asked the posting office if this is truly a 5/7/9/11 job or if the 11 is an error. Would be great news for someone trying to get into the government (GS-5 is a normal starting point) with the potential of moving up to an 11 in 4 years. Sweet. Regardless, GS 5-7 is a typical entry level position with the Government.
I will post back here when I have more info.
Also... if you do want to apply, send me an email at SCCVermont@aol.com as there are some instructions about submitting a resume and transcripts in advance where I removed the email address from the below.

Re: Public Job for ICE LESC Nov 2018
Ok... reading the job posting again, it does state "Promotion Potential" to 11 in the "Duties" section (I was looking for "FPL").
This means I expect the grades to be 5, 7, 9, and then 11.
