Mt Philo hillclimb (2020)

Post by Rabbit Farmer »

Mt Philo hillclimb is May 02-03, 2020 <-- a little earlier than we did in 2019

New England Hillclimb Association (NEHA)
http://www.hillclimb.org

The Sports Car Club of Vermont (http://www.SCCV.org) is pleased to present the Mt. Philo hillclimb in Charlotte, Vermont on May 02-03, 2020

Event information, camping, MSR and paper entry ere HERE.

A typical Philo event is to have a lot as we are able to run a continuous loop up and down the hill. Since an event can only be successful because of the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, please bring friends, family, signification others, enemies, etc. to help staff this fun event.

Lunches are included in the entry fee for drivers and is free to event workers assigned to official tasks. Additional lunches (i.e. non-event workers such as your guests or crew) are available for $5 each.

It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce that the Historic Mt Philo Hillclimb is cancelled for this spring.

Steve is asking the State of Vermont if we can move the date back to the fall for this year and continue with the spring for 2021. We will keep you updated.

Obviously Covid19 is the reason for this decision. Our hillclimb family may not know because Vermont never makes the news that Vermont is in a lockdown that is one step away from what is happening in New York and California. Many large Vermont events that happen after the spring Mt Philo have either been cancelled or postponed to the end of the summer.

We hope this will all end soon and everyone in our hillclimb family stays safe and healthy!
