A buddy of mine used to have one of these E350s that was great for towing and lugging his kids.

Looked similar to this...

My Legacy is rated to tow 3,500lbs with a trailer brake. Towing ratings are wonky.

A couple of posts touched on it, but a LOT of rated tow capacity has to do with the "whoa!" My time at a dealership learned me that a Cummins turbo-diesel has enough torque to change the earth's rotation, but coming down [insert fav mountain road here] and having the mommy-van driver on the cel phone cross your path can, well, be a whole 'nother issue :shock:

Can't tell you much about how they tow, but those new Durango's are really nice to drive...
