Due to monetary issues, I won't be able to participate :(

However, I would still like to come down and play photographer... problem being that the stands are on the wrong side of the sun to make that really worthwhile. Any possibility of being able to shoot from the infield if all the appropriate waivers are signed?

Thoughts?

I'm sure something can be arranged.

Nice. What should I do to put wheels in motion, or would it be a "day of" arrangement?

Really will be just a day of thing. Might have to wear a pink bunny suit or something.

Well it looks like we are going to have good size group coming from the Ludlow area this sat and we want to make sure all the new guys have helmets. I have a helmet question for you senior members. What is the minimum rating for a autox helmet? Is a snell 2000 okay to use for sat?

through the end of this season(saturday)
M95, sa95, m2000, sa2000, m2005 and sa2005 are ok.

m and sa 2010 are ok, but those are just shipping now.

As of next season the 95's will be no good.

Stig - we actually had a photographer at the 3rd one shooting from the infield, you just need a spotter, so as long as there are enough workers it shouldn't be a problem.

cool! and yes we are still using Snell 2000 as our cut off for helmets, the club does have at least one loaner, and typically other drivers are willing to lend theirs out too.
