That makes sense, though a bummer.
Can you make a piston cup trophy out of the old piston(s). They could make a great award/trophy at Philo.
I have a cracked brake rotor you could use as a base.

How true that is. Once you modify a car....it's a never ending project.Rabbit Farmer wrote:And so it starts.....

The funny part is when we bought this car we werent going to modify it.honda8790 wrote:How true that is. Once you modify a car....it's a never ending project.Rabbit Farmer wrote:And so it starts.....
I just wanted a catback....
I have the pistons in hand. I have shipping confirmation on all the other parts. Everything else will be here Thursday/Friday this week. I am dropping the block off to RPM tomorrow morning to get it bored and honed. So end of next week Joey said he should have the motor together and in. That should give me a about a week to get some break in miles on the motor before Burke Hillclimb.
Joey has been awesome in helping me with this on short notice. Thanks Joey.

2) I am a complete push over apparently
3) I would love to see the time line for all the mods.

Re: 04 WRX STi Project
whoops meant to reply to your post not edit it in post....sorry.
Let me fix that.
In terms of being a push over for the modifcations....I'm sure it took some arm twisting.
