Plastic bags to protect your stuff if it rains
Hat and gloves
Please, NO RED clothing, etc - Red is for flags only, please

How about a yellow t-shirt (I made that dumb mistake photographing a race at Lime Rock! Was lucky to keep my press pass  )

There's no yellow flags at NEHA events - only red...

it seems like we have a lot of new people, highly interested in helping through the weekend, and driving which is awesome!!!!

Nick/Steve wondering if you wanted to post up some dos/donts for the weekend, info about the gate, hill direction of friday, hill setup/breakdown, speeding on/off hill, gate-lock procedure, worker parking, meeting points. stuff that we all could use a reminder on..etc.

also put in a plug for workers!!! (free lunch and hand warmers while they last)

Schedule for the weekend can be found here http://www.hillclimb.org/events/philo/schedule.pdf

The gate at the bottom of the hill must stay locked at all times if someone is not there to watch the gate. The combo to the gate will be given to everyone that is part of the event when you get to the event. Do not give it out to anyone that is not part of the event.

The road does get reversed on friday at noon and switched back around 8 am on Sat. This makes the down road the up road. this is done so RVs can get to the top easier. Normal speed limits apply.

We will be meeting at the bottom of the hill at 1130 on friday for those who want to help. There will be no drinking of alcoholic beverages while setting up the hill.

Sat. Morning there will be a truck bringing working to the top of the hill. Workers do not drive up the hill as parking is going to hard enough with just drivers.

If you are working you must find Dave and sign the waivers. So do your best to track him down. at some point he will be set up in the lodge at the top of the hill I believe. Dave will have to let us know where he wants to be. Probably where ever its warm I am sure.

If there are any questions or concerns email me or call me 8 0 2 2 3 8 7 6 3 8

Hey Charlotte, Just to give you a heads up on Robin working. She won't be able to work Saturday until after lunch. She will be able to work all of Sunday. Kate (my daughter) went to the ER yesterday after a field hockey stick hit her in the face. Her nose is broken and she has 2 cuts that required stitches. Saturday morning is when they will remove the stitches. The good thing is Kate doesn't need a costume for Halloween.

Man, bummer Chris! Hope she feels better! Broken noses suck!

I will NOT be able to help with setup on Friday. I have to go drain the water lines out at our family camp in Malletts Bay Fri afternoon (cold weather a-comin!).

Charlotte and I will be there bright and early Saturday, however.

Sorry guys :(

by the way, I'm at a 50% chance to be there to help on friday, and if so I'll have to scoot out by 4:30.
I had planned to take the whole day off, but I forgot we have an audit this week, and that may or may not mean I have to be here through the day on Friday.
