Re: Mt. Philo Hillclimb (2009) Organization
My Dad has volunteered to help work wherever workers are needed. I'll get details when I get there. Planning on stopping by earlier than later, what a great excuse to leave work early.

Got home about 30 minutes ago.... didn't feel like unpacking. Leaving Nick's at 8am for Philo and then NH (drop off KSCC) equip. Had a great time. THANK YOU to everyone that helped to make this event a success.

Hey Steve, Nick or Dave,
I forgot to buy some SCCV t-shirts. Can I send a check to the SCCV PO box?
Awesome time at Mt Philo. Can't wait for the full season next year. Great job running it.

Re: Mt. Philo Hillclimb (2009) Organization
I just wanted to say thanks to Nick & Steve for putting on a great event, and to everyone else for being such awesome hill mates. Too bad it was kinda cold & slippery on Sunday, but I had a great time.
Also wanted to give a special thanks to the emergency crew on the hill, as well as Joey, Cyrus, Charlie, Jim, Russ, Dennis, James's Dad (I forget his name ), Bill & Charlotte, and everyone else who made sure I was OK, and to everyone who helped pick up the pieces while I was at the hospital. I managed to limp away with a torn calf muscle, some bruises, and further proof that trees never lose. Thank you all so much.

Re: Mt. Philo Hillclimb (2009) Organization
Hey, we're just glad you are OK. It was pretty tense up on the hill for the first 15 minutes or so until we got word you were out and about (although it felt a lot longer than that!)
A big thanks to all the drivers, workers, and other volunteers, Charlotte and I got a pretty good taste of how the whole hillclimb thing works. We definitely would like to get more involved in the future.
It was a great event, all the shivering and jumping around was worth it!

Re: Mt. Philo Hillclimb (2009) Organization
Glad you are okay Ryan. You gave us quite a scare.
Thanks to Bill and Charlotte for taking care of the workers. Thanks to the all the workers that came out in the cold. A very big THANKS to Nick and Steve. There is a lot of work that is done before and after the event that they take care of. If it wasn't for them the Philo hillclimb would not exist.

Re: Mt. Philo Hillclimb (2009) Organization
I second the 'thank you' to Nick and Steve - you guys are super duper! Steve, thanks too for helping me be a (relatively) successful worker coordinator... I can say that I might actually volunteer to do it again!
