CAI, cat back exhaust and coilovers on the RSX bumped the MPG by about 5 mpg from stock. I now get around 35 - 36 mpg when I'm easy on it .

That's the key....
Adding mods, and driving like this you'll most likely NOT see any mileage increases.

I averaged 40mpg in the CRX on a couple trips to shows. Now it's more like 24mpg lol.

I do get 35 consistently from the RSX.
