2010 Auto X Series Rankings

Post by lwheelock »

I finally got off my butt and calculated the points for the autocross series. We had 4 Autocross events this year, and therefore to be considered for the series you need to first be a member of SCCV and second need to have Driven in at least 2 of the 4 events.

Congratulations to all drivers, awards will be presented for the top three places in each class at our January Meeting/End of year banquet. As well as to our overall points winner, which tallies all points from ITT through to Philo. This will be announced at the banquet.

RANK...CAR #...DRIVER

Class 6
1.......476......Nick Goldberg
2.......343......Russell McLaughlin

Class 5
1.......42........Paul Dudley
2.......350......Larson Shultz
3.......17........Jeremy Hill
4.......63........Bill King
5.......77........George Rooney

Class 4
1.......417......Devlin Franklin
2.......132......Greg Lothrop

Class 3
1.......781......Peter Hunt
2.......702......Steve Jones
3.......409......Kevin Frey

Class 2
1.......66........Seth Achilles
2.......16........Cyrus House
3.......32........Laura Wheelock
3.......169......Chris Rielly
5.......719......Eric Reisner
6.......203......Travis DeMent
7.......27........Dave Stowell

Thanks again to all our drivers, workers and Devils Bowl for making this AutoX season happen! See you in 2011.

Wait...I didn't think meeting points counted towards the individual series totals. Just the year end "membership" award which includes all points from all activities. If the autocross series includes meeting points are they the points only for meetings that occurred during that series or any meeting points?

BTW, what exactly are the totals for all for comparisons sake?

For the autox series the meeting points for the meeting just before the first event throughout the series and meeting just after the series all count towards your total series points. Also official worker positions and chair/cochair counts towards your series total too.

We are not posting point values until after the overall winner is announced at the banquet otherwise it will give it away. Sorry to make you all wait. For those who can't make it to the meeting the first post will be updated after Jan 18th.

Laura is correct. I was there when we wrote the 15... no 10 commandments.
