we voted a few years ago to not allow trucks at events for roll over reasons. its written around here somewhere.

For autocrosses, not ITT, right? There were trucks running at last years ITT.

it was all events. And there should not have been trucks running last year.
We are suppose to run an ITT the same way and with the same rules as an autoX. It is also insured the same. There for no trucks/SUVs.

Hmmm, that would be extremely annoying. BTW - where the heck are our rules on the web site? We REALLY need to get that thing updated, it still says our autocrosses are in Stowe!

Not sure where the rules ended up, but I agree some things need some updating. We should probably square some of that up at the next meeting.

Can we square up the ruling on trucks at ITT now? I'd like to see whats written down.

I'm not sure bringing my 4,300lbs '05 Ford Police Interceptor out on the ice is such a good idea.... lol

Thats not so bad weight wise really. Ice is strong enough. The issue with trucks is rollovers, although ice trials have less grip (at least without super studs) and therefore less chance of rollover than autocrosses do.

We'll see what happens. If it's in the budget I might. The SCCV probably isn't a large enough organization to offer loaner helmets on site?
