Thanks everybody for stepping up to make this an excellent weekend of autocrossing. 8 timed runs and all the fun runs you could handle. I had a blast AND accomplished my goal of cording my Hoosiers.
I want to again welcome all the new faces to our events; I feel that this weekend was a fair representation of how our club runs things. Please feel free to propose any questions or comments here or to me privately, as our system is and always will be a work in progress. Perfection is an illusion, but since I like Lexus I'll pursue it anyway.
This event was our only official novice school for the season, but instructors are available at any of our autocrosses.
Amazing drive award goes to Peter and his well-built Acura with two smokin runs back to back at days end.
Hard luck award goes to Chris and his new enduro car.
Car slut award goes to Nick for the diesel VW, my Miata, and all the ridealongs.
You're fired award goes to Larson's mechanic.
Paul Dudley #42

There are no accidents; only collisions.

Great weekend!! Thank you to all the people that made the event possible and run smoothly - it's probably one of the best run events that I have been to.

Paul and Nick,
Keep up the excellent course designs!!

Big thanks to Paul, Nick, Bev, Laura, Erik, Chris, and everyone who really stepped up to make everything run so well. It was a great course, and there were very few hang ups throughout both days. Possibly the first time in SCCV history that a first car was off before ten?

Definitely a great weekend, and I think everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.

SCCV thanks for a great intro to autocross! I was a little on overload during the drivers meeting and the first walk around the track, but everything was thoroughly explained and there was no shortage of people willing to explain things to me or smiling faces. I also wanted to give shout out to Paul, Bev, Russ, and Nick for the ride alongs and the pointers.

I will see everyone at the next event!

It was a great weekend and a very well run event. I showed that I have a LOT to learn, but I'm looking forward to the next opportunity.

I got it so bad I felt sick and my face swelled up and I could not see out of my left eye Sunday morning...Seriously, I felt like I got punched in the face repeatedly. It was the wrong combo of cool temps, cool breezes, and the first real sun of the year. Sorry we didn't make it out the second day, but we will be back for sure. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible, and especially to the excellent instructors who rode along with my fiance at her first event. She's hooked!

^Yeah, I had sun and windburn from Saturday, too. Glad you both had a great time! She was looking pretty smooth and fast by the end of the day.

Many thanks for the good time. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to Sunday's Auto X, but I did manage to go to the school on Saturday.

I got some pictures as well, however they're a tad mediocre. I'll get better, I promise.
