Re: SLMP #2 (2014)
Want to make sure everyone saw Chris' question.BugEyeRex wrote:Is there anyone going to SLMP that can transport cones, timing equipment, ez up and a table? Its impossible to have an event without the basic equipment.
We need people to pick up the equipment for the event.
Once we get the equipment nailed down, we can have the event.
Yes, there will be driving at the track on Friday (see first post regarding Friday)
MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THIS POST BEFORE DRIVING OUT TO SLMP.....

Re: SLMP #2 (2014)
I'm happy to grab what I can fit in a Miata...
Edit: If it's make or break, I have ratchet straps and have been known to carry things that a Miata should not be able to carry. With proper motivation, I could get a lot in/on the Miata.... provided top down weather conditions... (Like... table, canopy, and cones... if it works like I'm picturing in my head. Maybe more.)

Re: SLMP #2 (2014)
It will take more than a miata. Thx, though.
Let's go folks.... Everyone needs to do their part to make an event happen.

Re: SLMP #2 (2014)
Table upside town on top of the windshield frame/roll bar, canopy and cones on top of that.
Kinda last resort... but, if nobody else with a more suitable vehicle is able, I'll do what I can.

It is official.
This event is CANCELLED.
We do not have enough people nor the people to pick up the equipment.

Why cancel the event on such short notice when someone can take the equipment? I saw at least two offers on facebook, and here.

We do not have enough entries to cover the cost.WRX97 wrote:This is ridiculous. Why cancel the event on such short notice when someone can take the equipment? I saw at least two offers on facebook, and here.
It isn't harsh.... it is the reality of putting on a club-oriented event. Without entries and people helping to make an event a success, we sometimes face these challenges.

Re: SLMP #2 (2014)
Theres 20 entries and at least one or two paying at the event.. How many more were needed?
The first SLMP only had 9 on both days... How could that event go on but not this one?
