2016 SCCV Autoxross series schedule

Post by ricker96 »

The Sports Car Club of Vermont is pleased to announce its HUGE summer autocross schedule, beginning in April! This could be as many as 14 autocrosses; two events per month.
The venue is unique, allowing us 3 modestly-sized lots in a corner of an active & open mall(diamond run mall) It is in the city of Rutland, who are happy to have us there. This, as we all know, is a rare & wonderful thing. Any car is allowed, any tires (uh...unstudded). We also have the opportunity to put a car or two inside the mall as a teaser.

If you've read this far...awesome!...check your helmet, SCCV requires a SNELL 2005 or newer helmet, m2005 or sa2005.
Update: convertibles are no longer required to have a rollbar to compete in this seasons auto-x series, it's strongly encouraged that your convertible is equipped with rollover protection, but not required!

Dates:
APRIL 23-24
MAY 14-15
JUNE 18-19
NO JULY EVENT based on projected attendance, and with July being a busy vacation month, sccv has decided not to hold a July event.
AUGUST 13-14
SEPTEMBER 10-11
Sep 24 – AutoX @ Caanan by SCCNH
Sep 25 – AutoX @ Caanan by SCCV
OCTOBER 1-2

For some reason (user error on my part) the entry fees in Motorsport Reg were not correct for the autocrosses.

The entry fee should be $40 member and $50 non-member.

If you have already registered, just pay the different the day of the event. If you would like to cancel because of the corrected entry fee, please get with me directly and I will issue a refund with no penalty if before the normal cut off date.

SCCV July auto-x has been removed from our event list, next SCCV auto-x will be Aug 13-14.
After looking at past events attendance, and July being a big vacation month for most, SCCV has decided to focus on August, September, and October autocrosses since the club will still have a total of 12 auto-x events for people to enjoy.
